THE UNITED STATES ARMY
MILITARY • NEWS • PUBLIC AFFAIRS
U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) was created on July 1st, 1973 under General William E. DePuy. TRADOC oversees 32 Army schools organized under eight Centers of Excellence, each focused on a separate area of expertise within the Army (such as Maneuver and Signal). These Centers train over 500,000 Soldiers and service members each year.
TRADOC CAPABILITY MANAGER (TCM) MOBILE
TCM Mobile provides centralized management and governance for the Army’s mobile learning initiatives (apps standards and authoritative source content), manages requirements for a mobile app hosting environment, and provides a single interface on mobile issues related to training and education throughout the Army. To date they have developed over 100 official US Army mobile apps hosted on the TRADOC Applicate Gateway (TAG). The TAG is located at https://public.tag.army.mil
We developed a showcase for all the mobile apps developed by TCM Mobile that included a mobile apps directory that was easily sorted, a news blog, and frequently asked questions (FAQs) for Army organizations that wanted their app developed.
Due to limited funding, the organization opted to not purchase our logo services.
Designers chose the same color palette as that used by the Army’s official news agency at Army.mil.
(It is safe to confirm the security exception when visiting Tradoc’s App Gateway)
